"State licensing is one of the hardest parts of the behavioral health system — not for clinicians, but for patients. We took it on ourselves so you don’t have to. If you live in the United States, you’re in our service area. Period."

State licensing is real, complicated, and not your problem.
In the U.S., mental health providers must be licensed in the state where the patient is physically located — not where the provider lives. That makes multi-state care surprisingly hard. Here’s why our footprint exists.
Trauma-informed care across state lines
Personal injury and workers’ comp cases regularly cross state borders — the accident, the treating provider, and the litigation venue can all be in different states. Multi-state licensing keeps your care continuous regardless of jurisdiction.
Continuity through life transitions
Move for a job, go to college out-of-state, spend winters somewhere warmer — your therapy doesn’t have to start over. Notify us, we adjust the licensing arrangement, and your same provider continues your care.
Coverage where you actually are
Rural, urban, mountain time, eastern time, evening hours, weekend hours — we built the network so your zip code doesn’t determine whether you can get care. The internet has no state borders. Neither does our scheduling.
How licensing works in practice
What you actually need to know.
The licensing rules are technical. The practical implications, for you, are simple.
1.
You schedule based on where you are
Not where you grew up, not where your insurance is registered — the state where you’ll physically be sitting during the session. We match you with a provider licensed in that state.
2.
Tell us if you’re traveling
If you’ll be in a different state for a session, let us know in advance. We adjust the assignment to a provider with the right license — same standard of care, fully compliant.
3.
If you move, your care moves with you
For long-term moves, we coordinate with you so your treatment doesn’t restart. Many of our clinicians hold licenses in multiple states and can continue with you directly.
For attorneys & case managers
Multi-state cases? That’s our specialty.
If your client lives in one state, the accident happened in another, and the case is being litigated in a third — we can deliver continuous behavioral health care that stays compliant across all three. We’ve built our entire footprint around this exact problem.
